MEP design and construction administration services for a new 35,800sf maintenance facility which includes 27,400sf parking area, 3,600sf maintenance area, and 4800sf office/training area.  MEP systems included gas fired radiant heating, packaged direct expansion cooling and gas heating rooftop units for the offices, general ventilation, vehicle exhaust, domestic hot and cold water distribution, compressed air distribution, wet pipe sprinkler, power for maintenance equipment including welders and general power distribution, fluorescent general lighting, battery emergency lighting, site lighting, phone and data systems distribution. The electrical system consisted of a new 400 amp, 120/208 volt, 3 phase service with a generator for 100% backup of entire complex. Generator system had both a life safety and an equipment branch automatic transfer switch.  Power was provided for welding, wash bay and office area.
